Hokkaido University along with Niigata University and University of Tsukuba have been commissioned by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) to implement "Study in Japan Global Network Project" since 2018 to target Russia and the CIS region, one of the designated priority areas.      

"Study in Japan Global Network Project" aims to accept more number of students studying in Japan by providing All-Japan full support including from recruitment to the follow-up after returning home.
